If your job is propaganda, disinformation and deception, you don't need everyone to believe all of your lies straight away. You just need to sow enough doubt that people no longer know what to believe. If you have the time, then, you let them grow up believing nothing and teaching that to their children. Those children will then swallow whatever blatant falsehoods you point in their direction, because they've got nothing else.
