Showing my false Britishness

Recently I've started using the word "naff" to mean "cool" just because it's a bit different. Then it occurred to me to look it up. See the results here:
"naff. adj. Chiefly British Slang. Unstylish, cliched or outmoded."
Oh, bother.

PS - And nobody ever believes you when you say "bad means good" any more.
PPS - We're well past the 80s now.

Use it anyway in an effort to change the meaning. Take 'cute' for example. The original meaning was 'ugly but interesting' and now it means a variety of things, all of which are attractive.

This is your mission, should you choose to accept it.

Well, if I'm fighting against Kyle to change the meaning of a word and he's on television already, I've got a lot of catching up to do.

I'm still wondering where I might have picked up the word. I might be misquoting Pinky and the Brain ("Narf!") but that's a bit tenuous.
